Sinnoh

Reimagined

A Minecraft Map aiming to reimagine Pokemon Platinum’s Sinnoh region, pushing the region’s scale, style, and environmental storytelling past the hardware limitations of its original home on the DS.

As open-world as it gets

Sinnoh Reimagined aims to spatially and thematically expand upon the Sinnoh region established in Pokémon Platinum. When played with the Pixelmon Generations mod, the map features zone-specific Pokémon spawns and a playable league challenge.

Explore over 1 sq. mile of hand-crafted land.

  • This map is compatible with the Pixelmon Generations mod, delivering a classic monster-catching experience on top of the endless possibilities of base Minecraft. Furnish your home, dig a secret base, build a base with friends, it’s all yours to play as you wish.

  • Attempting to break free from the limitations of its original hardware, this version of Sinnoh aims to feel more lived-in and vast than ever before. Each settlement feels distinct and rich with history, with some even featuring major redesigns, such as Pastoria City which now bears resemblance to Koriko from Kiki’s Delivery Service. This Sinnoh features more towering stadiums, hidden paths, and scattered ruins to discover on your journey.

  • This version of Sinnoh draws from a pool of inspirations, including real-world Hokkaido, the world design of Breath of the Wild, and the breadth of the greater Pokemon World, including notably, New Pokemon Snap and the Pokemon Anime. Additionally, the city and landscape designs are designed drawing from walkable urban design and amusement park philosophies.

This map was built from bedrock using WorldPainter, WorldEdit mod, and TSquare.
